Eric Nordstrom, Founder (Violinist, Electric Violinist, Jazz and Fiddle)

A native of New England, Eric Nordstrom has been a freelance violinist/electric violinist in the Tampa Bay area since 1999. Nordstrom is an alumnus of the Interlochen Arts Academy and Mainz Konservatorium (Germany) and a graduate of Oberlin College and Conservatory, where he received degrees in Violin Performance and Biology. The latter interest led to a one year position as a research assistant in the Molecular Biology Department at Brown University as well as five years as a member of the Science and Technology faculty at Tampa's prestigious Berkeley Preparatory School, where he designed and implemented technological training programs for both faculty and students. Nordstrom has performed throughout the United States and Europe with acclaimed groups including The Boston Pops, The Rhode Island Philharmonic, The Southwest Florida Symphony, The Florida Orchestra and the Kammerorchester Betzdorf (Cologne, Germany). Sought-after as a marquee performer, Nordstrom has served as concertmaster for Fort Pierce Opera, The Mostly Pops Orchestra, The Suncoast Pops Orchestra as well as dozens of chamber orchestras in the central Florida area. He served as assistant concertmaster of the Oberlin Chamber Orchestra for its historic performance of Bach's B-minor Mass at Cleveland's Severance Hall and held the the same position with the Opera Tampa Orchestra for 5 seasons. Nordstrom has recorded for several record labels, appearing as lead violinist on Jon Secada's latest album Same Dream, in addition to the soundtrack to Busch Gardens' multi-million dollar Broadway-style show Katonga. He was the long-time first violinist with Musical Reflections, a Tampa-based string quartet, and can still be heard on all of their recordings, on and off the web. In the Pop Music arena, Nordstrom has performed with Sarah Brightman, Josh Groban, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Diana Ross, Clay Aiken, and Rod Stewart to name but a few. He has also appeared in locations across the USA with classical-pop sensation Nova Era. Nordstrom's solid artistic and professional reputations are vital to the continued success experienced at The IBEX Company. Brad Carlton, Pop Music Specialist (Classical Guitar, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums)

Brad Carlton is living proof that top-notch musicians don't all live in the big music meccas. Based in St. Petersburg, he has been teaching and leading his own bands for more than 20 years and prides himself on his versatility. Brad's reputation as one of the industry's most sought-after "stunt" studio guitarists is well deserved. His mastery of the guitar and bass guitar are exceeded only by his working knowledge of theory, harmony and technique. Carlton is best known for his uncanny ability to improvise impeccably executed solos over any changes, in any style with little or no rehearsal time and he has played backup to numerous artists in the recording studio. Trained originally as a classical guitarist, Brad fills a variety of roles with Bella Musica, performing at weddings and in the pit for Broadway Musicals, as well as with our larger dance bands and pop groups. Brad has been instrumental in assisting The IBEX Company in its expansion into the jazz performance market here in the Tampa Bay Area, where he forms the backbone of our dance band, MUSE. In his “spare” time, Brad is a sought-after clinician and one of the main teachers for the Truefire University video lesson guitar school in St Petersburg.

William Goodwin, Talent Placement and Market Development (Lower Strings)

William Goodwin, violinist and violist, has had a successful and varied career as a performer, studio musician, teacher, and administrator. A graduate of The Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and The Florida State University, Goodwin is a highly sought-after performer and teacher, and has toured with numerous recording artists including Sarah Brightman, Rod Stewart, and the Three Tenors. His active performing career includes orchestral, recital, and solo appearances throughout Europe, South America, Taiwan, and the United States. His interest in computers has complemented his passion for music, adding a dimension of expertise in the area of Multimedia setup for presentations, as well as the skills necessary to develop specialized databases, web site content, and customized music arrangements. With experience as an Arts Administrator, Goodwin currently facilitates market expansion and talent development for The IBEX Company. Goodwin's extensive knowledge of budgeting, technology administration, and client development enables him to contribute greatly to The IBEX Company as he expands talent pools and opens new viable markets.
